For the last five years, video production has been my creative escape. I’m always looking for reasons to pick up my camera, whether its filming weddings or working on personal projects. I’ve worked professionally in video production for various media outlets. I’ve been a media content producer, and currently, I’m a writer and video editor for a news station in Los Angeles. 

My time as a wedding filmmaker began 5 years ago. The first wedding I shot was for my brother’s best friend. Although it was a small ceremony and I knew the couple nearly for half my life, I was scared and nervous to do it but tried it anyway. It was through the editing process that I fell in love with wedding filmmaking. When I’m editing a film, there are several moments that warm my heart such as the groom’s nervous impatience as he waits to see his bride for the first time,  the father’s teary eyes as he walks his daughter down the aisle, or the couple’s candid moments after the ceremony. 

Although love is universal, not one couple is the same and on their wedding day it shows. Therefore with each edit, my purpose is to capture each unique moment that makes your wedding YOURS.  My goal is to create a timeless, story-driven film that will allow couples to revisit those beautiful moments and highlight the emotions they experienced that day all over again or look back on something they may have missed. Every film I edit, I hope that couples and their children can look back on it and not just enjoy it…but relive it. 

 

When I’m not at work or filming  weddings—I’m hiking, out looking for something to photograph, binge-watching a Netflix series or out playing with my little Wednesday (my dog). Thanks for checking out my website.
